Comparing large assemblies or roll-ups by using BOM reports

aPriori provides two reports to compare the differences between two large assemblies and roll-ups:

• BOM Comparison Report Piece Part Cost

• BOM Comparison Report Fully Burdened Cost

Generating a BOM report

1. Open an assembly or roll-up in aPriori.

2. Select Reports > BOM from the aPriori menu bar and select one of the following options:
   • BOM Comparison Report Piece Part Cost: Select this option to list piece part costs and weights down to the component level, calculate the difference between these values for two assemblies or roll-ups line by line, and highlight the differences.
   • BOM Comparison Report Fully Burdened Cost: Select this option to list fully burdened costs and weights down to the component level, calculate the difference between these values for two assemblies or roll-ups line by line, and highlight the differences

3. Select the assembly or roll-up for comparison against the active assembly or roll-up.
